Meet Alex Tayara

 

Alexandra Tayara is a singer and songwriter from Seattle, WA. Her body of work spans multiple genres ranging from the dark to the dreamy. She was trained classically, as a mezzo-soprano, and transitioned into the folk/indie realm when she started learning how to play the guitar. Her voice has been described as soothing and comforting. Her aim is to transform what she's learned and experienced into accessible art, so that others may find solace. Alex is now located in Denton, TX and plays shows in the surrounding DFW area. She's currently collaborating with a group of very talented musicians to tag along with her to gigs. She'll be working with her producer in Fort Worth on her upcoming album in 2015.
